Boudoir session info & faq
So.. how does this work?
I'll bring champagne and my camera, you'll bring a handful of outfits (three looks is about perfect, see below for more on that) and we make a game plan.
We’ll review inspo images and talk a little about the vibe we're aiming for (very sexy, dark/moody, light & airy, raunchy or more sensual, mix of all, etc) and then we dive in!
The session is about an hour-ish. I’m flexible on time but usually after about an hour you’ll be ready to just relax on the couch and eat some cheetos (which we can also totally do, haha).
Where do we shoot?
1. We can shoot in your home. If you have a room with some windows we can make about anything work, but with this option I may have to charge a travel fee depending on where you’re located, which I hate to do.
2. We can use an airbnb in Indianapolis or Fort Wayne, which is what I do for the majority of the sessions I do. Typically I rent for a day and schedule a few sessions so I don’t have to add on a location fee, I just absorb it. We still shoot privately, you still have your own session time, but doing a few in one day means we can shoot somewhere that would be a bit pricey to rent for just a single session.
What about posing?
I gotcha covered here. I’ll give you tons of directions and feedback, flipping the camera around often so you can see how great you look. You definitely don’t have to come with a bunch of poses prepared, though it’s always cool if you have some ideas! Usually I’ll start with some classic poses and it’ll just take off from there as I see how you move, what your vibe is— it’s all kind of magical and hard to explain. The thing to remember if you’re nervous is that I’ll never leave ya hanging out there, I’ll check in with ya and make sure you’re psyched about the poses and you can definitely opt out of anything you’re not comfy with.
What do I wear?
Anything! Nothing! Lingerie or pjs or a little black dress, whatever you feel sexy or cute in.
Feel free to scour pinterest (or check out my inspo board here). Three looks is usually about perfect and variety is ideal.
One option is to choose one from each of these three different vibes:
- Dark & Moody. [ black/maroon/red, strappy/lace, out there]
- Light & Airy [ white/pastels, lace, a veil, bridal ]
- Fun & Carefree [ t-shirt, cottons, a flannel, oversized sweater, simple bralette, thigh-high socks ]
And we can always add in fun accessories: pasties, flowers, heels, earrings, coffee cup, veil, sheet, sheer fabric

Is there someone who can do my hair and makeup?
Possibly yes! In the past I’ve been able to partner with a H/MU artist to get ladies all dazzling before we shoot, and hopefully will be able to consistently offer this as an add-on.

but i’m not a model.. and i don’t have a model body…
Ah, there it is. The insecurity we all struggle with. First of all, most models don’t even look as good as they do in professional photos (that have been retouched and heavily curated). Secondly, you’ll be surprised at the magic of good light, good angles and good posing. Thirdly, WHO SAYS you have to have a “model body” to be gorgeous and sensual and fully embracing your powerful feminine self? (this is straight from the pep talk I give myself all the time by the way) We can aim to be healthier and more fit while ALSO loving and embracing ourselves exactly as we are— and it really is true that a future self will likely look back on this current self and want to shake her shoulders and say “you look f*cking amazing!! put on some lingerie and give ‘em a show!”
How will I receive the images?
I'll upload the photos to a private online gallery— it’ll be at least 80 images in high resolution. From there you can download the photos and print them yourself (I have a lab that I recommend!). No special permissions necessary— they’re all yours.

What if I don’t want anyone to see these photos?
After I’ve delivered your gallery I'll send ya a little questionnaire about how/if/where you'd like me to use the images-- I don't post many on social media, but it is helpful to put fresh images in galleries for other ladies who are interested. BUT if you don't want anyone else in the world to see them, that's totally cool. We'll come back to that later though!

How long will it take to receive my gallery?
I try to shoot most of my sessions during my quiet season (November-April) and have photos turned around in 2 weeks or less. During my busy season (May-November) it'll be 2-4 weeks. I’ll always be willing to rush it if you need me to—like if it’s getting close to a wedding/birthday and you want them for a gift!. And sometimes I’ll have special holiday events (hello, best v-day gift ever) and I’ll guarantee the photos turned around super quick.
